Erika Parsons

Erika Parsons is editor-in-chief of Culturatti Ink, an indie publishing house that works to create a platform for new, unheard authors. She is a ghostwriter of bestselling novels, personal memoirs, and celebrity biographies. As a ghostwriter, she has also penned numerous lifestyle columns and arts & entertainment articles for magazines and websites.

Erika is a co-author of the book, Locked In . In 2010, her childhood memories gave birth to Hoppa’s Big Move , the first in a collection of children’s books on cultural and social diversity. Hoppa’s Big Move served as a platform for several school-wide diversity initiatives. Erika has toured the country speaking with students about the joys of reading, writing and the beauty of being different. She remains passionate about inspiring children to find and nurture their inner author. Erika is a contributing author of the book It’s Not All About You and the recipient of three Detroit Free Press writing awards. In 2015, she founded the Erika Parsons School of Creative Writing . She currently writes for Pryme Magazine . Erika draws inspiration from the timeless words of Langston Hughes, Billie Holiday, Lauryn Hill, Alice Walker and her two sons.
